Electrolysis of Water (5E20.10)

Description:

DC through slightly acidic water produces hydrogen and oxygen at the electrodes. Matches are provided to ignite the Hydrogen.

Procedure or Operation Notes:

Not shown above is a 6-12 Volt DC power supply. Turn on the power supply and let it run for at least 20 to 25 minutes.

Light a match and hold it above the stopcock before opening it.
